Why do I see white light in my peripheral vision?
The vitreous is a gel-like fluid which fills most of the eye. As people age, this vitreous becomes more and more liquefied. The vitreous has loose attachments to the retina, and more firm attachments to the optic nerve. At some point in a person’s life, the vitreous liquefies enough to shift position in the eye.
Where does the light come from in my left eye?
I got hit in the left eye about a couple of weeks ago and ever since then have been seeing this ball of light “float” from the bottom corner of my left eye to the top corner of my left eye (which is why im on here).
